DVD Slide Show

Have your digital files made into a custom slide show, written to a DVD and presented in a custom DVD case. If there is room on the DVD, your digital files will be added to the same disk as the slide show movie to allow for printing and emailing of individual images. With Slides in a Flash you can take as little or as much time as you like to organize your slides. It 's up to you.

You can use the online photo gallery tool to:

  • Rearrange your slides or to place them into groups
  • Choose to skip some slides all together
  • Add custom titles and even descriptive paragraphs to your slideshow
  • See and organize your slides without having to hold them up to the light
  • Download full-sized copies of your slides instead of waiting for snail mail

So don't try organizing that shoebox full of old slides, just drop them in the mail, send them to us and then you can organize them digitally.

Parts of a DVD Slide Show

  1. Your DVD begins with a title screen showing a collage of your slides and the text of your choosing.
  2. If you have a lot of slides and divided them into groups then the title screen is followed by a photo menu.
  3. From the menu, you can choose a chapter to watch or just play the whole DVD at once.
  4. Each Chapter or slide group begins with a title screen that can hold just a title or a paragraph if you would like.
  5. Each slide you send us is displayed for about 5 seconds and then it fades into the next.
  6. Background music that loops or fades can be added on request for an additional charge. Contact us for more details.

Arranging Slides in Order

You can choose to customize your slide show as much or as little as you like.

  • Online Preview - Save time and do your organizing digitally using our free slide gallery website. This is much easier than holding each slide up to the light to try to see the image.
  • Organizing your slides before mailing them (Optional) - If you wish to organize your slides before sending them to us we recommend dividing the slides into groups with labels, using zip-lock bags or wrapping them in paper and putting a rubber band around each group. It is also a good idea to number your slides just in case they are jostled in shipping.
  • Carousels - We will gladly accept your slides in their carousels and will arrange them in carousel order. Let us know if you'd like to save space by having your carousels discarded.

Adding Music

We are able to add background music to your slideshow DVD. We require that this be music that you own or have us purchase for you. You may either send us your CDs along with your slides or choose from music available for download from Amazon's mp3 store.
