Slides should be packed in the original boxes or wrapped in groups
with strips of paper and rubber banded together.
You want to prevent them from jostling around as this may cause the film to separate from the cardboard frame.
We suggest placing the boxes into a zip-lock bag to prevent any moisture from damaging the slides during shipping.
This also minimizes the amount of dust that is picked up by the film.
Pack your slides in a sturdy box with anti-static packaging materials.
Boxes can be found for free or bought (larger ones)
at the Post Office or you can use one that is recycled from another shipment.
Please include your name and contact information inside the box
so that we know that the slides are yours. If you like,
you can print your order confirmation email.
Shipping
For a small amount of slides
the easiest way to send them is the US Post Office. Priority mail is a flat rate for
up to 2 pounds and your package will arrive promptly in 1 to 3 days depending on your location.
For larger orders
we recommend a shipping service such as UPS or FedEx or flat rate boxes from the USPS.
We strongly recommend that you use a service with delivery proof or tracking.
We don't want your precious family slides getting lost in the mail! We will send you an email when we receive your slides!
Return shipping of your materials & DVD(s)
The cost for return shipping is based on the number of slides you send us.
All slides, carousels, holders, etc. you send with your order will be returned to you unless you request otherwise.
If your slides are in carousels you can request that we discard your carousels and return your slides in bundles.
Bundled slides save a lot of storage space.
